Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13 January, 1981) is an American actor. He began his career with performances in television shows like Opposite Sex in 2000. Evans was a household name because of his performance as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in films based on comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). He gained wider recognition for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was able to become one of the top-paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
